Are you currently working in NPD or as a NPD Technologist or Process Technologist and are looking to work for a branded company who make fantastic products giving you the opportunity to run wild with your creative thoughts?
My client is looking to recruit for a NPD Technologist who will be able to continue the high level of products that the company produces but also looking at new ideas and improving the existing range where possible.
The main responsibilities of the role will be to:
You will be needed to make kitchen samples for a variety of reasons
You will work with the other members of the NPD team coming up with new ideas and new products
As well as NPD you will also be focused in the launch of the product. You will lead and attend product trials for the first run of any new products.
Part of this job will be to work closely with the suppliers. You will need to understand new flavours, new products that will help keep the company's new products be as successful as ever.
The Ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 3 years experience working in a development role within food manufacturing
- Have a food science degree or relevant qualifications
- Have experience in both concept and launch
