A Permanent opportunity is available for an Administrator Transport Assistant, just outside of Beccles!
Approx 40 hours per week - 09:00hrs - 17:00hrs Monday-Friday with a Saturday 07:00 - 13:00hrs (On a 3 week rotation).
Main duties as an Administrator Transport Assistant
* Dealing with customers face to face and over telephone so excellent customer service skills are essential.
* Inputting data into a besoke system.
* Be able to carry out a variety of basic laboratory testing.
* Ensure Health and Safety requirements on the yard are maintained at all times
* Communicate with Operational and Office staff where required
* Provide additional support where required as necessary
* Assisting in making technical assessments, this involves identifying and assessing hazardous components/ chemicals.
* Generating GHS labelling provisions and manage chemical storage inventory.
* Assisting in weighbridge operations and ensuring hazardous documentation meets the necessary requirements.
* Be able to carry out a variety of administration duties and provide cover due to staff holidays and sickness.
* Ensure Health and Safety requirements on the yard are maintained at all times
Working as part of a team in a busy environment, the successful candidate must be highly organised, have a good eye for detail.
You will need good IT skills to include Excel and Word.
Experience in the waste industry and a Chemistry based degree would be an advantage.
Own transport will be required, due to location.
