Taskmaster are currently recruiting for Bench Hand Assemblers to work within a busy Timber Merchants based in Leeds. The hours are 6:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6:30am - 4pm on a Friday. These are excellent temporary to permanent positions with an immediate start available for the right candidates.
Duties include:
* Finding the correct timber to assemble the frames
* Working from diagrams
* Attention to detail measuring items correctly - using metric ruler
* Cutting timber down to size
* Assembly
Candidates must be able to read a metric tape measure and have some experience working with hand tools/ diy. Previous experience within a similar industry would be advantageous for this position however, is not essential as full training is provided. Candidates must be keen to learn and have a strong work ethic, be reliable and committed to getting a permanent role.
