Longleat is very excited to be hosting our brand-new Land of Light event for the first time ever, starting in November 2020, specially designed and developed by us to offer a magical, festive and immersive experience that we can all celebrate together at Longleat.
Our Land of Light event invites guests to illuminate their senses as the Longleat Estate springs into gleaming life, creating a spellbinding sensory walk of discovery for everyone to enjoy, with a myriad of magic light installations emerging across the Park and its sprawling grounds.
What will this role of Retail Assistant entail?
As a Retail Assistant you'll use your excellent customer service skills and friendly nature to actively seek opportunities to engage with our guests and help with any enquiries they may have. You'll interact with guests at all stages of their visit - from welcoming them, to serving them on the till (with full training provided), and providing a fantastic guest service throughout.
You'll maintain a great knowledge of the variety of products we sell across our various retail outlets so that you can help guests pick out the right souvenir, and you'll also help replenish stock levels and keep the outlets in a presentable condition.
What will I need to be considered for this Retail Assistant vacancy?
* Demonstrable customer service experience
* A passion for delivering a great guest experience and willing to go out of your way to do so
* Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
* Excellent communication skills with a confident and friendly nature
* Be honest, reliable and committed, and enjoy responsibility and exceeding expectations
* Flexible to work extra hours / weekends as required
The Package
As a Retail Assistant, you'll receive a pay rate that meets National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage, in addition to a range of attractive benefits that include;

You'll be employed on a fixed term contract until 10th of January 2021, working at Longleat in Warminster, with working hours to vary on a 7-day rota basis - earliest rota'd start time from 9am, and latest finish time up to 9:30pm. Please note, due to the nature of the business evenings and weekend work will be required, including bank holidays.
