As part of our continued growth, we have a requirement for a Junior Bid Manager based at our newly opened Glasgow City Centre Office (when re-opened, until such time home working will be required). As a Junior Bid Manager, you'll see every bid as an opportunity to establish successful and long-lasting relationships with prospective clients, and play a pivotal role in shaping bid strategies, crafting content and managing the overall end-to-end bid management processes to achieve this.

You will be able operate at both ends of the bid development spectrum, from leading large, multi-stakeholder and distributed teams through to rapid response writing to meet ad hoc proposal requirements. Comfortable and confident, with a flair for internal and external stakeholder engagement and successfully crafting winning bid content, you'll excel in understanding prospective client requirements and confidently articulate solutions that are geared towards adding maximum value, to achieve successful results.

We also provides eProcurement, eInventory, eHealth and eFunding solutions for clients around the world.

What You'll be Doing:

+ Be responsible for developing bids to a consistently high standard, meeting key milestone deadlines
+ Play an active role in developing the bid win strategy and value proposition, ensuring that proposals are aligned to prospective client requirements
+ Rapidly interpret prospect requirements and communicate these with the relevant internal team members to support effective estimation and proposal development
+ Develop engaging written content that enriches the quality of the proposition
+ Work closely with technical and delivery teams, be able to communicate their propositions in a client-centric manner
+ Work closely with the business development and production teams to fully understand prospective client requirements
+ Work collaboratively with external parties to coordinate bid responses
+ Coordinate all bid supporting documentation and pricing elements
+ Liaise as required with prospective clients, throughout the bid lifecycle
+ Use Pipedrive to gather information, track updates and report on progress
+ Contribute to the ongoing development of the bid content library and supporting documentation
+ Achieve utilisation targets
+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
+ Prioritize daily activities to accomplish assignments

About You:

+ A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in bid writing and bid proposal management, within a software development environment. (OR)
+ A degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline is desirable, but if you don’t have this then the level of your experience will be taken in account.
+ Interpersonal / communication skills: excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to express yourself clearly and articulately both orally and in writing. Able to build strong and effective, collaborative working relationships with colleagues and prospective clients.
