IT Technician
IT Technician, GBP20,000, 09:00-17:00 M-F, Ferndown, Temporary - Permanent
Purpose
In this IT Technician role, due to growth, you'll be the first person to take on this newly created position. You'll be responsible for all customer interaction within the shop and over the phone, booking in repairs which you will assist with once trained.
Responsibilities
As IT Technician you'll be joining a well-established, family-run, company with the following responsibilities:
Dealing with customers in store and over the phone with excellent Customer Service
Updating customers on repair status, estimates and turnaround time
IT Help desk duties - Windows / Office / PC / Network troubleshooting
Hardware and Software installation and configuration
Booking repairs and assisting once fully trained
Generating new and encouraging repeat business and recommendations
Proactively marketing the business across multiple platformsBackground
With relevant experience in customer service, you'll be:
Tech savvy
Experience of Network Administration - setting up / looking after Active Directory & Group Policy
A self-starter who works on their own initiative
Wanting a long-term opportunity to grow within the business
Marketing minded
Self-motivated
Experienced within Microsoft OfficeEmployer
