WasteRecruit are working with a UK waste recovery, treatment and disposal specialist to find a Site Chemist.
The job will focus primarily on ensuring waste is accepted to site and dealt with in compliance with the Permit and company procedures. A site chemist is unlikely to have two days the same, with a varied range of jobs taking place. At any point you may be repacking and preparing waste for movement off site, maintaining records of stock, providing customer service, driving a forklift truck or inspecting equipment.
You will need to be self-reliant, taking ownership of your workload, with an ability to communicate effectively and to work in a professional manner.
The successful applicant will ideally have an HNC or degree in Chemistry. Full training and support will be provided for the successful candidate, so we welcome applications from recent graduates
