Injection Moulding Tool Hanger

Job Overview: Working alongside our client, an injection moulding manufacturer, as part of their growth plan we are looking for a Mould Tool Hanger or Trainee Setter to join their team.

Role:

• As a Tool Hanger/Trainee Setter you will be required to effectively and safely carry out tool changes in the injection moulding areas of the business
• Required to safety operative moulding machines and associated equipment to meet production targets
• To maintain agreed quality standards
• Assist the technical team with the safe removal and loading of the injection mould tooling from the machines
• This is an excellent opportunity for an Injection Moulding Tool Hanger/Trainee Setter to work a secure and stable position with a company that put their staff at the forefront of their company

Main Duties :

• Assist the technical team with the safe removal and loading of the injection mould tooling from the machines
• The operation and correct use of the injection moulding machines and any ancillary equipment relative to the removal and loading of the mould tool
• Check product for quality as per 1st off sample
• Second operation work as required
• To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site

Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment
