Pay: GBP8.72ph
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00pm
Location: Erdington (B24)

Encore Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client who are based in the Erdington area. The company are a recognised manufacturer within the vape e-liquids industry.

Due to sustained growth they are now actively looking for a Production Operative to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Job Purpose:

As production operative you will be responsible for the daily tasks that make the business work. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Approve the right products and reject defectives
• Check output to spot any machine related mistakes or flaws
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
• Ensure output meets quality standards
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Keep paperwork organised
• Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards and fragile products
• Maintain and operate production equipment and assist with distributing the final products
• Manually boxing products
• Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift
• Record work and relatable documents for traceability
• Report on defective products or machinery
• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
• Working with diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools
• Any additional tasks required to support the business

The Person:

Essential:

• Teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read run sheets
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)

Desirable:

• Previous manufacturing experience in supply chain environment
