About us: Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) have exciting opportunities for 20 Rework Inspectors to join a high profile company who specialise in automotive products based in the St Athans area. Our clients business is growing and as a result, we are now seeking new talent to join their team. The environment is busy and fast paced.

Job Role: The successful candidates will be working on returned components with a default. Candidates will be required to recognise the returned fault, will then adjust by either using hand-tools to drill, cut, screw or cut to ensure that the component is then adjusted correctly. Everything will be clearly explained alongside the process to follow via their clear and easy to read technical drawings.

Contract Type: Temporary on going

Location: St Athans

Salary: GBP9

Shifts: Mon- Thurs :- 06:45-15:30 Friday :- 06:30-11:30

About You: We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with good team working skills and a 'can do' attitude. You will be able to follow instructions effectively and work on your own initiative with good communication skills.

Key Tasks:

Quarantining or releasing car parts with some visual inspection.

Check correct documentation is in place.

Usage of hand held tools and Hand held power tools i.e screwdrivers, sanders and other rework tools, Vernier callipers / small inspection

Record data of results found.

Adhering to all health, safety and quality standards within the department.

Person Requirements:

Experience within Production, Manufacturing, Quality or Automotive.

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Reliable
