Our well established client based in Burton Upon Trent are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the business on a temporary to permanent basis after a successful trial period.
As the Warehouse Supervisor you will report into the Warehouse Manager directly helping to oversee the smooth running of the warehouse operation. The key responsibilities will be to provide effective support to the warehouse staff members along with effective distribution of goods, administration and inventory control.
Duties of the Warehouse will include.
Support Goods Inwards, accurately booking on Purchase Orders and labelling incoming stock
Picking sales orders
Releasing sales orders and processing delivery notes. Aiming to achieve efficient distribution and utilising company vehicles. Ensuring customers orders are delivered on time and sign off of orders.
Manage WIP processing to meet the pick rates and warehouse KPI targets.
Manage Quarantine from warehouse. Support the purchasing team to ensure goods are refunded to suppliers for credit purpose.
Inventory management
Identify opportunities to improve work flow processes
Adhering to H&S measures
Skills and experience required for this position will include
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Warehouse Supervisory experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Packages and SAP experience or Sage
Have a flexible approach along with excellent time management
Be a team player who can lead from the front
This position would suit someone who is capable of using IT packages, has good communication skills and experience of working within a warehouse previously either as a supervisor or looking to develop their career in this area.

Working hours will be 8.00am - 17.00pm
Salary between GBP18,000 - GBP20,000pa depending on experience
