Position: School Business Manager
Location: Saltley, Birmingham
Salary: Grade 4b - 5a, Point 28 - 36 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time 37hrs with the need to be flexible
Contract term: Temporary to Permanent Job
Start: To be discussed - ideally September 2020
Kingston Noble are working with a 11-16 co-educational Academy in Saltley, Birmingham in the search for a Business Manager to take the Academy forward on the next stage of it's journey. This Academy is a popular school at the heart of the local community with the latest Ofsted inspection (November 2019) rating the academy as continues to be a 'Good' school. The Academy is part of a Trust consisting of 5 other schools so will be able to provide outstanding support for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
• Holding of Business Management Qualifications
• Experience working in a financial setting including budget management
• High level of administration experience including operational management and an ability to develop and maintain systems
• Ability to prioritise and manage tasks to varying deadlines
• Strong ICT skills with knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Leadership experience including line management of teams
• Health and Safety experience including an understanding of Health and Safety legislation and working with risk assessments
• Personable skills with an ability to build positive relationships with external partners
• An understanding of School settings including relevant legal issues and the role of the Governing body
• An ability to remain calm in challenging circumstances
• Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection legislation
