My client is looking for a Software Engineer
To develop new web applications and services for the business. Supporting other team members with Angular development. Support and maintain existing software portfolio to provide continuity of service. Split role with Angular development and .NET core MVC development. Fully remote with occasional travel to the office (Birmingham area). Experienced in Angular and Typescript. Knowledge in (or desire to learn) .NET core MVC applications. Comfortable with remote working in a small team coupled with occasional travel to offices in and around Birmingham. Happy to be the team expert on Angular and participate actively with team tech sharing days.
Essential Skills:
2+ years of experience with Angular - Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS. Knowledge of .NET core MVC or a desire to work on and learn these applications. Good use of unit and integration testing frameworks for .NET and JavaScript. Visual Studio 2019 and Visual Studio Code. Experience of working in an Agile environment and understanding of software development methodologies.
Desirable Skills:
Azure devops, Experience with native JavaScript, Blazor knowledge, Bootstrap responsive frameworks, SQL Server queries. Use of Stored Procedures, joins, transactions and CRUD operations, SC clearance in a previous role.
Remote with occasional on-site attendance in and around Birmingham
