FDS Recruitment is currently seeking a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to cover Dartford, Sevenoaks, Bromley and surrounding areas
Our Client is a BAFE accredited company who are specialists in design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection systems. This family business is experienced and resourced to carry out these services to the highest standard within the retail, commercial, industrial and educational sectors throughout the UK.
What you'll be doing and where as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer
* Routine and reactive service/maintenance on fire alarm systems
* Main fire safety systems used include Gent and Notifier
* All works and paperwork must be completed in accordance with British Standards and
* company policy
* Majority of work - Dartford, Sevenoaks, Bromley and surrounding areas
About You
* Must have experience servicing fire alarms and be able to demonstrate strong knowledge in the fire alarm industry with an understanding of BS5839
* Willing to carry out small modifications and assist with fire alarm installations
* Ability to fault find accurately
* Serviced both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
* Commissioning knowledge/understanding would be an advantage
* Have a driving licence
* Confident in your work, reliable and hardworking
* A solid work ethic and great attitude, completing work with enthusiasm
* Well organised team player
* Excellent customer care skills
