We are currently looking for a Practice Administrator to join our team in Banbury for a maternity cover contract.

Your Role

As a Practice Administrator, you will be tasked with providing a comprehensive support service to the practice through the provision of admin and management information.

You will also take charge of the purchase and sales ledgers, dealing with staff expenses, supplier payment runs, and posting monthly sales invoices. Working with our databases, you will prepare and post disbursement from PL invoices/staff expenses and maintain and amend client/supplier information.

This engaging role will also see you:

- Managing staff timesheets
- Assisting in the preparation of reports for partners
- Completing daily bank reconciliations
- Banking cheques
- Maintaining petty cash
- Setting up new employees on our system
- Assisting with facilities queries and secretarial duties as and when required

About You

To be considered as a Practice Administrator, you will need:

- At least two years’ experience in a business administration role, preferably within a finance function
- An understanding of CRM and accounting systems, ideally CCH and Xero
- A strong level of IT literacy including excellent Microsoft Office skills with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good overall business and finance knowledge
- Excellent organisation and administrative skills
- Accurate data inputting skills and an eye for detail
- An excellent telephone manner with good interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise work effectively and efficiently
- The ability to use your initiative in terms of decision making
