Teacher of Physics
Start date: September 2020
Location: Scotland
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Part-time, Permanent
Our client, a prestigious independent school based in Scotland is looking for a Teacher of Physics for this upcoming academic year.
The school is an HMC, co-educational day school, with roughly 1500 pupils in attendance. The school follows the Scottish curriculum and achieves impressive results, whilst emphasising other learning experiences. They have outstanding facilities for sport, drama and DT. Recently GBP25 million was invested in the school, which now offers 120 clubs. The school has a strong sense of identity and is based in a beautiful urban location, in 'a wraparound city school'.
We are looking for a Physics Teacher with a strong academic background to join from September 2020. The ability for the Physics Teacher to be able to teach up to Key Stage 5 is desired but it's not a necessity. The Physics department has modern and well-equipped classrooms.
We are looking for a Physics Teacher that will promote the school values and participate in the culture of boarding life. Commitment to teaching, pastoral care and extracurricular activities is essential. The school has a high quality of teaching and extra-curricular work.
We are looking to shortlist for this post over the next week. Due to COVID-19, interviews will be held remotely over Zoom or an alternative video platform.
