There is currently a unique opportunity for someone to become part of our Ryarsh family. You will be joining a united team of children, teachers, support and admin staff and an incredibly supportive governing body.

Due to the increasing popularity of our school amongst the local community, our school grounds have undergone massive improvements with the addition of a new school hall, classrooms, library, staff room and a new reception outdoor area. This is all whilst keeping the number of children at 210 across the school, meaning that we have the unique balance of being a traditional village school, but with the facilities of a new school. This unique balance means that we have a distinctive ethos in our school of retaining traditions of the past whilst, at the same time, embracing innovative and forward thinking leadership. This role is part class based - currently 3 days per week in class (in KS1 or KS2) and 2 days non-teaching. It will also include the role subject leadership as well as a wider leadership responsibility such as curriculum and/or assessment. Further to this, we would like our Deputy Headteacher to also be one of the Designated Safeguarding Leaders.
