Production Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

Brewster Partners have an urgent requirement for an experienced Production Maintenance Engineer to join an award winning business in Rotherham.

This is a fixed term contract position until March 2021 with the opportunity to extend. The role is available immediately so we are looking for someone who can start straight away.

You will be working on a rotating shift pattern which will cover days and nights, with some occasional weekend work. You may be required to cover out of hours cover on a rotational basis to cover holidays.

THE JOB:

• Providing planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery as well as facilities.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts and conduct tests to ensure that repairs are satisfactory.
• Monitor performance of machinery and equipment; adjust and calibrate as needed, ensuring that equipment meets specifications and requirements.

THE PERSON:

• Previous maintenance experience in a similar working environment is essential.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. Maintenance, Electrical Installations, Electronic Servicing, Health and Safety)
• Experience of fault finding and repairs, working at heights, inspection and testing, installation and maintainence, production engineering
• Working independently in a busy, active environment and collaborates well with others.

THE BENEFITS:

• Basic salary IRO GBP24,500 to GBP37,000 (Pro-rata)
• Weekly pay, paid a week in hand
• Enhanced overtime rate
