Warehouse Operative

No experience is needed to work as a Warehouse Operative at a busy distribution centre for a leading UK supermarket.

Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work in Bridgwater with shifts available across multiple chambers.

The rate of pay is GBP8.72 up to GBP10.56 per hour depending on the department:

- Chill Department GBP8.72 p/h
- Frozen Department GBP8.84 to 10.56 p/h
- Ambient Department GBP8.72 to GBP9.63 p/h

Full time roles are available with the following shifts:

Chilled Department - 6am to 3pm
Freezer Department - 6am to 3pm and 8pm to 5am
Ambient Department - 6am to 3.15pm and 7.30pm to 4.45am

You will be required to be flexible to meet the demands of the business and will include weekend work.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative at this site your duties will include:

- Using pallet trucks to move stock
- Other general warehouse duties as requested
- Manual handling
- You will be provided with full protective gear including; shoes, jackets, trouser, hats and gloves

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Warehouse Operative is flexible and open to work in a variety of roles across the site.

You should have an eye for detail and show accuracy when picking orders.

You must be prepared to work in fairly cool temperatures in both the Ambient and Chilled departments. If you wish to work in the Freezer department you must be prepared to work in very cold temperatures. .

No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
