We are seeking to recruit an additional teacher secondary to support the COVID-19 Restart and Recovery Programme. The position is for 28 hours per week for a temporary period up to one year.

The successful applicant will undertake a variety of teaching duties as required at different stages to meet the needs of the school and to compensate for any loss of learning suffered by pupils during the COVID-19 lockdown. You will be responsible for aspects of planning, assessment and reporting as directed by the Headteacher.

In line with Section 21 (2A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980 the successful candidate for this post will require to have the approval of the Roman Catholic Church. Applicants are advised that it is their responsibility to obtain such approval and this must be done at the same time as submitting the application form. This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
