NMWTRA Site Manager - Competitive Salary + Benefits - Conwy, North Wales

The Role

SPIE UK, a smart engineering and technology-driven solutions provider for the built environment, are looking for a NMWTRA Site Manager to work on our A55 North Wales Infrastructure and Tunnels projects within our Specialist Services team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of producing all RAMS expected of the client, ITPs, liaise with sub-contractors, monitor and report on progress, project management to ensure compliance and pursue additional revenue.

The key responsibilities of a NMWTRA Site Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring works are carried out to high standards complying with relevant British Standards and codes of practice; and ensuring design and installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements.
  • Managing and setting firm financial targets to meet established objectives, which will include the reporting of financial status to Senior Management; and maintaining positive relationships with the project customer through efficient delivery of projects with a view to optimising future opportunities and profitability.
  • Providing tendering facilities for extra project works to suit client requirements.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a NMWTRA Site Manager:

  • Must have a CCS card and Ipath certificate (essential).
  • Must have health and safety awareness (essential).
  • Must have previous supervisory experience (essential).
  • Must have COVID-19 working awareness.
  • Ideally, the right candidate will have a cladding or tunnel-based background.
  • Must be comfortable working night shifts.
