Warehouse Operative

Smart Space Instant Buildings provides fast and cost-effective solutions for a whole range of industrial and commercial applications. Due to growth an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our warehouse team.

The Role:

The role will involve picking and packing orders from our in-house stock, order, and shipping systems. This busy role is demanding it needs concentration, motivation, and energy as everybody in the warehouse works under pressure to reach deadlines. It will involve teamwork within the warehouse and with other departments, to be conscientious and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing
• On site H&S
• Picking and packing
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Some van driving responsibilities
• Washing and grading hire stock

Required Skills:

• FLTCB licence
• Full driving licence
• Attention to detail
• Methodical approach to problem solving and ability to use own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritising workload and multitasking
• Adaptability to changing daily tasks
• Professional demeanour with colleagues, customers and suppliers

• Hard working, proactive and independent
• Organised, responsible and trustworthy
• Able to handle a heavy workload
