Our high profile client is seeking a an indirect buyer working for and on behalf of the Group's UK & IRE manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations.
The role covers a variety of commodity areas, especially with a focus on services, and requires much cross-functional teamwork.
Looking for an enthusiastic, high-performing purchasing professional, ideally with multi-GBPmillion project & services purchasing experience.
Being a self-starter and able to effectively balance multiple demands in a quality-orientated business environment are crucial.
Applicants should have at least 2-5 years purchasing experience.
Key responsibilities:
-Management of sourcing activities.
-Commercial and legal negotiations.
-Process partner relationship management.
-Supplier relationship & performance management.
-Commodity strategy.
Other notable duties:
-Ad-hoc department tasks.
-Meeting facilitation and management.
Essential skills:
