Epos / Stock Control Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as an Epos/Stock Control Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential.

Epos Assistant responsibilities & Skills

• Inputting purchase orders and inventory receipts onto the EPOS system
• Reviewing promotions, offers and discounts onto the EPOS system
• Assisting with the processing of discount and gift vouchers
• Support with EPOS staff training
• Assisting in stock take processing and stock value calculations
• Assisting in document coding and data input for sales, purchase and nominal ledger routines
• Ensure that any accounting queries that may arise are resolved promptly and in a professional manner
• Be aware of Sage Accounting software and be competent in the use and development of spreadsheets to provide information for other users
• Be part of a Professional accounts team recognising other members work load and being flexible in relieving when busy
• Cover Cash Office duties if required
• Deal with incoming telephone calls and enquiries.
• Work with speed and the highest standard of accuracy
• Intermediate/advanced Excel required
• Experience with Sage accounting system preferable
• Good written and oral communication skills required
• Carry out other related accounts and general head office administrative work as required by the Company Accountant or Financial Controller.
