Our client is a privately owned manufacturer and distributor with a network of 11 branches throughout the UK and Ireland. The Maidenhead branch is currently looking for a Branch Manager to come on board and manage an existing team of 8 staff.

Supported by Group Head Office Management, you will manage all internal operations of the regional branch. You will assume full site responsibility, including supervision of a small team covering admin, warehouse & driving to ensure the branch runs efficiently and to Group standards. Good communication skills are essential to this role along with integrity and self motivation.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and industry.

Our client is offering a salary of GBP30k - GBP35k plus benefits. Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.

* To ensure that Group Management are kept fully informed of branch progress and all issues.
* To run & analyse reports on key areas of branch performance.
* Manage team of existing staff (Warehouse/Driver/Admin).
* All disciplinary issues up to and including investigation (in conjunction with Head Office).
* Staff recruitment where agreed with Head Office.
* Ensure all customers are dealt with in a professional & timely manner.
* Liaise with Group Management in all matters relating to quotes & pricing.
* To ensure all staff have a broad knowledge of our product range to provide information and advice to customers.
* Ensure Group stock control procedures (booking in stock etc) are adhered to.
* To ensure that all cash / cheques / card receipts are properly accounted for and kept safe and secure.
* All banking is done in a timely manner and properly reported to Head Office
* To ensure all goods are being picked correctly and that paperwork procedures are followed.
* All goods inwards checked off accurately and paperwork procedures are followed.
* To maintain the warehouse environment ensuring maximum efficiency.
* Ensure a professional & prompt service is maintained at all times for our trade counter.
* Ensure the fleet is operated within its legal requirements and Operating Licence guidelines.
* To report any incidents immediately to Head Office and ensure all vehicles are properly maintained.
* To ensure the staff can gain entry in the morning and the building is left secure in the evening.
* Responsible for ensuring the branch is compliant with its legal requirements and the wellbeing of staff.
