Web Developer - Magento
WEB DEVELOPER required to join a highly successful and profitable, forward thinking Fife based manufacturing and logistics company. The company are willing to consider those with some work-based experience and provide suitable coaching and training.
The overall purpose of this role is to create and maintain a new ecommerce website alongside the company's existing websites. This role will be responsible for the development of the new website from the ground up.
Duties:
Develop a fully functioning online ecommerce website based on the Magento platform and regularly installation and associated technology
Enable EDI (Electronic data interchange) connections with external parties
Develop new functionality
Test and validate code across browsers and devices
Implement both visual and functional front-end changes
Manage and update product data
Requirements:
Understanding of digital UX, design and development
Magento experience required
Strong experience in developing responsive websites
Object-oriented programming knowledge
Javascript/jQuery for front end development
HTML and CSS knowledge
PLEASE NOTE - this role is based in Fife and does not involve home/remote working at this time. It is envisaged that if you live outside of Fife it may be challenging to reach the site without your own transport.
