HGV Class 1 Driver

Abstract Recruitment is hiring an experienced HGV CLASS 1 Drivers for an immediate start for a new parcel distribution centre in Bedford.

You will be required to make timely and efficient collection (3-4) of customers' mail, packets and parcels.

TEMP TO PERM 8 week contract.

Limited Drivers welcomed to apply on the understanding that after 8 weeks they will go permanent with our client.

Shift:

Monday to Friday
Tuesday to Saturday
04:30-22:00 (8h/10/h/12/h shifts)

Overtimes available every weekend.

We are happy to accommodate your preferred hours of work.

Pay rates day:

GBP 11.25 per hour PAYE

GBP 12.72 per hour LTD

Overtime GBP 18.01 per hour

Pay rates night:

GBP12.95 per hour PAYE

GBP14.63 per hour LTD

Overtime GBP 20.01 per hour

Driver must:

Have a 12 months of experience
Have UK licence
Have valid CPC and Tacho card
Have a current DBS CHECK - if not apply for one once started work
Have good communication skills

Have own transport

Be professional, punctual and reliable
