My client, a leading organisation within their field since 1989, is looking to hire a skilled and experienced Network Administrator to provide support across the business and ensure they have the correct frameworks in place and support the business users. You will report to the board and be responsible for all aspects of IT.

The ideal candidate will have strong software skills, will have some experience of working with an EDI platform.

You should be a car owner since travel between both of the company's sites and to their suppliers will be required.

The role is will have a focus on supporting their new ERP (Prophet) so there will a focus on candidates with strong software skills.

Responsibilities

• The management and control of the entire IT estate including infrastructure and software
• The swift resolution with support from partners where required of all issues
• The design and maintenance of a governance framework
• Advice to the board on technology matters when requested
• Service reviews with our technology partners
• The support and ongoing development of our ERP system Prophet

Must Haves;

• Free to work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator.
• Microsoft Certified within the application or network field.
• Experience with EDI packages and understands the protocols.
• Has been responsible for an end to end network including the line of business software.
• Car Driver.
• Strong understanding of SLA's and how they operate with third party suppliers.
• Thorough knowledge of ERP systems and their importance to any business
• A good understanding of network infrastructure including wireless and wired networks
