AWS Solutions Architect/Remote/Contract/6 months+

AWS Solution Architect/AWS/Architect/AWS Certified/6 month contract +/Remote

Spring Technology is currently recruiting for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to join an exciting organisation on a 6 month initial contract.

The role will see you working closely with both the internal product teams, and clients to help design, develop and implement industry leading technical solutions built on AWS.

Key responsibilities:
*Work directly with customers and internal teams to define requirements and provide architectural guidance based on best-practices
*Build technical relationships with customers and internal teams and operate as their trusted advisor.
*Designing cloud solutions for both clients and internal products
*Contribute to the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (eg white papers, code samples, blog posts)
*Create architectural documentation for our clients and internal teams
*Contribute to the creation of repeatable solutions for the provisioning of cloud infrastructure

Skills and experience:
*IaaS, PaaS, FaaS, SaaS platform experience and knowledge
*Trained and certified as an AWS Solution Architect - Associate (Minimum)
*Experience with end to end data processing systems inside cloud environments
*Design for cost efficiency understanding
*Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code deployment techniques and containerisation concepts
*Working knowledge of git version control system
*Experience of agile development practices
*A commitment to and knowledge of secure by design and effective change management
*A passion and aptitude for understanding business problems and finding solutions to them
*Creating and maintaining Amazon Cloud Formation and Serverless Templates
*Working with and designing event driven architectures
