Configuration Management Database Analyst (CMDB), Up to GBP50,000 + Strong Blue Chip Benefits, ASAP Start, Brighton Area, Lovely Blue Chip Company
Overview of Configuration Management Database Analyst:
Reporting into the Service Delivery Manager the Configuration Management Database Analyst sits within Group IT (50-60 Staff). The position is a newly created one and the need has come about as the company have recently migrated some of its function to ServiceNow and the Configuration Management Database Analyst will help maintain the system as well as help improve the functionality of it.
What will you be doing in the role?
As the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Analyst you will have the responsibility for administering the CMDB within the organisation. This role will be responsible for maintain the CMDB to include: discovery, configuration item maintenance and service/application modelling. Additionally, this role implements and maintains integration between CMDB and other platforms and tool.
Whats in your DNA?:
Ideally you will be ITIL v3 Certified
You will have gained good knowledge of the management of a CMDB
Experience of working with ServiceNow is a strong advantage to the role
Experience of working in a SIAM model is again an advantage to the tole
Lastly you will be proactive and have an natural passion for looking for improvement, you will also need good verbal and written communication skills, and a good understanding of the use of different channels and formats for different audiences
