Electronic Technician - Oxford
I am working with an Oxford based Medical Device company currently looking to recruit an Electronic Technician to join their growing team on a permanent basis. You will support electronics design activities, maintain electronics laboratory equipment and tools and order components.
As the Electronic Technician you will be responsible for:
- Soldering components, making cable assemblies
- Simple schematic and layout design
- Board bring-up support
- Writing basic test software
- Operating test and measurement equipment
- Ordering components
Skills and experience:
Essential Experience
- Soldering
- Simple electronics design in any CAD tool
- Component selection
- Programming hardware interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI)
- Operating multimeters, oscilloscopes, laboratory power supplies
- General-purpose software tools
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience
- IPC J-STD-001 Certification
- IPC-A-610 Certification
- IPC-A-620 Certification
- Python
- Altium Designer
