JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER required to join a highly successful and profitable, forward thinking Fife based manufacturing and logistics company. The company are willing to consider those with some work-based experience and provide suitable coaching and training.
The overall purpose of this role is to support IT & the Lead Developer in building bespoke scripted solutions for the company's ERP system (NetSuite).
Duties:
Responsible for maintaining and developing all parts of ERP System.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Optimisation of the application for maximum speed and scalability
Research, evaluate and analyse technical and design requirements from the business
Requirements:
Knowledge of JavaScript with a strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
Essential to have experience in web technologies; HTML, CSS, SQL
Positive and approachable
Ability to investigate complex issues
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure, without supervision, to meet tight deadlines and maintain focus
A high level of numeric and communication skills
Have a teamworking and cooperative mindset
PLEASE NOTE - this role is based in Fife and does not involve home/remote working at this time. It is envisaged that if you live outside of Fife it may be challenging to reach the site without your own transport.
