QA Section Leader (Engineering/Machinery) - Fixed Term

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and well-established manufacturer that are experiencing significant and sustained growth.
Due to an increase in their market share they are investing heavily in the South Wales facility and are looking to recruit an experienced QA Section Lead on an initial 6 months Fixed Term contract with a view of it being extended by at least a further 12 months.
You will be responsible for managing all site engineering activities related to compliance, validation, external audits, calibration, and QA documentation. This role will be ensuring all site services and production machinery & equipment is safe, compliant and audit ready always.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Ensure all calibration activities are completed 100% to plan with all the correct documentation and KPI's are updated accordingly
*Responsible for ensuring all engineering related QMS documentation is completed on time and to required standard
*Complete all engineering equipment, facilities, and utilities log audits on time
*Ensure all engineering related SOP's are up to date and relevant
*Regularly complete compliance audits and report on the details of PPM activities and documentation
*You will be working very closely with both site services and production engineering and across a range of equipment including - water systems, air units, temperature-controlled equipment, instrumentation, automated high-speed production machinery and PLC systems
Knowledge, Skills, and experience
*Degree qualified as a minimum - Engineering related
*Experience of project management
*Experience of working within a similar type role
*Previous experience of working within a highly regulated GMP environment preferred
*Strong awareness of production and equipment quality requirements
*Understand the importance of documentation requirements, validation, and procedural adherence
Benefits Package:
