We are recruiting for a part time car driver to drive our client to visit patients in homes/schools/care homes so that she can carry out her professional training with her patients. This would suit someone looking for flexible part time hours. You will not be required to go in to any residences - the role is purely to pick up, drive, wait and return my client to home or place of work.
The hours are variable from week to week and sometimes they are 10 hours a week, sometimes non a week and ocassionally 20 hours a week so a degree of flexibility is required. Small items of equipment will also need to be transported. You will need your own car and business insurance, a clean driving licence and you will be able to claim 56p per mile. The times could be between 08.30 and 17.00 Monday to Friday
As a guide a typical appointment usually lasts 2 hours plus the travelling time from picking up and dropping off my client which is all claimable. There maybe multiple appointments in a week, or spread out during the week
