My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Principal Engineer to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Bristol.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering and vast experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and detailed Drainage Designs using Microdrainage for Residential Projects.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience using Microdrainage, AutoCAD and PDS.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to manage projects, mentor staff and complete varied Flood Risk, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Residential and Commercial Development Projects for Land Promoters, Private Sector Clients, Housing Developments and Local Authorities.
Applicants will also be required to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3 for planning applications.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategy.
-Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design for Residential and Commercial Projects using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.
-Project Management and Bid Proposals.
-Team Mentoring and training.
