A super opportunity has arisen for an Employer Engagement Manager to work for a leading IT and Digital Training provider covering across the East Yorkshire area covering York, Hull and the surrounding area. As the Employment Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with the East Riding of Yorkshire's IT, Digital and Tech businesses to identify and create apprenticeship opportunities for young people

Working alongside marketing, talent recruitment and employer engagement teams you will develop a strong team ethos and spirit, supporting the overall business goals, whilst having fun along the way.

This is a brand-new role, created as part of Apprenticeships' expanding network. This is an exciting opportunity to make the role entirely your own, and to carve out a space for apprentices within East Yorkshire's IT, Digital and Tech sector.

The job:

" Attend business development meetings with customers and convert apprenticeship opportunities
" Educate local employer networks on the apprenticeship talent solution
" Identify, prospect and generate new apprenticeship opportunities in your region
" Coordinate with recruitment colleagues to fulfil created opportunities
" Collaborate with colleagues working on the same account to ensure the highest levels of service across each function
" Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts retaining a minimum of 80% beyond the existing service

Experience required:
o 3+ yrs. experience in a B2B sales, business development or employer engagement role
o Commercial experience and or an understanding of the apprenticeships, recruitment, training or education sector
o Experience or a strong interest in the tech or digital sector within the East Yorkshire area
o A proven and consistent track record of new business development,
o the ability to manage a 360 sales process from initial prospect to close
o A consultative sales approach to new business opportunities
