Who will you be working for?
Westray Recruitment Consultants are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer to commence work immediately for a key client who specialises within the Engineering sector. With a full order book and a back log of work, the role comes offers lots of overtime and the role can become permanent following a successful probation period. The successful candidate will be able to programme 5 Axis CNC Milling Machines with Heidenhain controls.
Your role
* Programming, setting and operating a 5 axis CNC milling machine
* Programming a CNC milling machine using Heidenhain controls
* Working to produce one offs to high volume batch runs
* Performing self-inspection of work
* Also working to programme a Fanuc controlled Doosan Mynx
* CNC milling various components to a high standard
* Working from engineering drawings
Required experience
* Must be able to programme CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
* Must be able to set and operate CNC milling machines
Whats in it for you?
This role comprises of day shift hours working Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday afternoon. This is a temp to perm role and will transfer to a permanent contract following a successful probation period.
This role pays GBP14.58 for day shift hours and comes with readily available overtime paid at time & 1/2 for the 1st 4 hours on a Saturday and double time thereafter, including Sunday.
