Infrastructure Engineer - Warrington - 40K - IT Solutions
DRIVING LICENSE IS NECESSARY
A leading IT Solutions client of mine are on the lookout for Infrastructure Engineer based at their office in Warrington. We have up to GBP40,000 available for this role.
The role will involve being responsible for ensuring that any desktop, server or network related issues are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner both remotely and on clients sites (Own car and clean driving license is essential!)
In this role, you will be encouraged to work closely with the current team whilst taking ownership of issues and use initiative whilst working effectively under pressure. The company pride themselves on having a very open working culture that offers a flexible work scope.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who currently has strong Windows Server and VMWare skills but who wants to take on a more senior role in a growing, supportive and dynamic company.
Must haves.....
Good knowledge of firewalls/routers/switches (Cisco)
VMware - Configuration, Installation, Administration
Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
Microsoft Exchange 2010 onwards
Active Directory - Administration, Management
Desirable....
Backup technologies (Veeam)
CItrix
Infosec (Security)
Monitoring systems
