Technical Support Consultant
Worthing
Monday to Friday, shifts between 9am and 6pm
GBP24,000 - GBP28,000
A Technical Support Consultant is required for Hunters' client, a well-established comms, IT and tech company with outstanding benefits. The Technical Support Consultant role would suit customer focused team player with a great eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills together with a high level of personal organisation and disciplined work habits.
Job Description:
* Providing Telephone/Remote and On-Site support for customer devices and related software, network servers, and storage
* Providing Support for Windows, Mac OS, Android and IOS
* Providing On-Site installation and support for customers Network Infrastructure
* Diagnosing and resolving issues with Remote Desktop Servers, Folder Redirection and Remote Applications
* Testing and resolving account issues in a timely manner
* Pre-Sales Support, pre-Staging Equipment
* Working with field engineers to visit customers/employees if the problem is more serious
* Ensure the department and company policies and SLA's are being followed
Skills Required:
* The ideal candidate will have knowledge of telephony and the technology market
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Installations and Migrations
* Good understanding of networks, WAN, LAN, switching, routing security and SIP trunks
* Experience of engineering activity with telephone systems, IT networking and IP Addresses
* You will need to have a degree or equivalent in Information Technology preferably with a focus on Networks
* To be strong & assertive
* High level of customer service with exceptional telephone manner
* Able to research solutions to a problem, implement and test with the customer to ensure the issue is resolved correctly
* Full UK Drivers Licence (manual)
