We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and driven IT Change & Problem Manager to join our team based in Harrow.

What is the pay and what are the benefits?
In return you will receive a salary up to GBP24.94 per hour dependent upon experience, other benefits include excellent training and support for career development. 21 days holiday increasing with each years' service to a maximum of 29 days (excluding Bank Holidays).
What will you be doing on a daily basis?
1.Manage and deliver the change management process to enable all ICT Domains to work together, to ensure that changes are managed and co-ordinated to minimise operational interruption and address any cyber or security risk.
2.Deliver the problem management process to enable all ICT Domains to collaborate to ensure that problems are resolved in a timely manner, whilst minimising business impact during the resolution process.
3.Ensure any lessons learnt and root cause analysis is undertaken.
4.Manage and co-ordinate high priority incidents and problems including the inception and reporting of major incidents
5.Identify any delaying or blocking elements and work with relevant parties to bypass them and keep the Service Manager fully informed of any escalations.
6.Ensure auditable processes for the approval/authorisation of Changes including an analysis, assessment and declaration of risk, and that the Service Manager is fully aware of the impact to networked services.
What experience & skills do you need to succeed in this role?
??Fully competent in ITIL practice - with emphasis on Problem and Change Management.
??Ability to identify and manage conflicts and provide prioritisation based on business benefit.
??Strong interpersonal skills to build a high degree of credibility and presence to negotiate, influence, inspire confidence and respect, to develop a network within and outside of the Council.
??Strong analytical ability with attention to detail, specifically focusing on analysing and interpreting complex statistical data including trends and performance management data, with a view to producing accurate and meaningful reports.
??Change or Problem Management ITIL Certified
??Educated to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience.
