Production Supervisor

Are you an experienced Production supervisor looking for a new role?
Currently I am recruiting on behalf of an excellent forward-thinking client who will be undergoing a significant period of growth in the near future following an initial seven figure investment into the business, who supply to the food service sector, fast-food sector and the retail market demonstrating their stability in today's challenging market.

As a Production Supervisor, the main role is in supporting the Production Manger in the organising, directing and monitoring of production operations for safety, quality and efficient performance. Perform as a proactive, "change agent" leader in the facility, providing support and direction to members of the work team. Lead, motivate, and train employees to achieve production results, improve individual skills, and enhance teamwork. Develop team's ability to solve their own day-to-day operational issues utilising their skills set and problem solving methods. Responsible for the daily operations of the production departments on his/her shift.

SALARY: GBP27,500

SHIFT: Hours of work will be Mon to Fri - 5 x 8 hours shifts - Rotating early and back shift - 06.00 to 14.00 and 14.00 to 22.00

REQUIRED

Several years supervisory experience within the Food Manufacturing Industry.

Hands on experience of looking after a production shift.

Have had responsibility for product safety, Health & Safety, production output and line efficiencies.

PREFERABLE

Experience of breading and battering operations.

Experience of using forming machines, multi-head weighers and form fill seal baggers

Basic engineering skill
