One of our favourite clients are looking for a Lead Assembly Technician is to support and lead their team in daily activities relating to Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities in the role include:
?? Ensure Inductions are carried out and new starters are on boarded effectively.
?? To be a point of contact for their team in all matters relating to Safety, Quality and Delivery and People.
?? Escalate any matters relating to Safety, Quality, Delivery or People where local control has failed and further support is needed.
?? Work proactively in reviewing critical documents relating to Safety, Quality and Delivery and communicate any information to your team as it is required.
?? Ensure all equipment is available and maintained including calibration and safety critical equipment.
?? Ensure build traceability is maintained throughout.
?? Communicate frequently production plans and targets to your team.
?? Allocate duties either directly or indirectly to your team and ensure all resource it effectively utilised.
?? To champion 5s in your area and support and promote all aspects of continuous improvement
?? Be active in ensuring production plans are met and production KPI's / information required is updated to the required frequency.
?? To control and monitor attendance and logging of production hours to the required frequency.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:
* Full understanding of the shop floor policies and procedures.
* Electrical experience at delivering to plan right first time.
* Experience at managing workflow.
* Ability to highlight potential failures before they occur.
* Excellent time management skills and a willingness to remain flexible.
* Ability to communicate at all levels and ensure information is understood and embedded within your area.
* A good level of IT competence in Microsoft packages, Factory Master and any other IT systems as they are identified.
