QA Automation Engineer

A large, Fareham based software house are currently looking for a QA engineer to join their agile development team. They want someone with experience both Manual & Automation testing.

They are building out a brand new product. Completely greenfield. This will give you the chance to define the testing landscape and environment.

They have created a great learning culture and are looking for QA's that have a passion to share knowledge, building a product in a collaborative environment that encourages R & D.

Tasks will include formulating best test strategy for new components, writing test plans, completing functional and non-functional testing, programming automated tests and being involved in the planning element of the SDLC

We are looking for smart, energetic, and entrepreneurial individuals who are passionate about making a difference and helping us improve our engineering and agile practices.

Key capabilities / experiences of the role:

• A proven track record of applying QA best practices.
• A proven track record of formulating a QA strategy.
• Experience of automated and manual testing of complex software products.
• Experience of implementing QA within the context of a CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience of implementing QA in a DevOps environment.
• Experience of applying QA in production environments.
• Experience of performance testing.
• Experience of HA testing.
• Experience of User Interface testing.
• Experience of Software Quality Assurance.
• Experience of automation in multiple languages.
• Experience of Test Driven Development and associated toolsets.
• Experience of Agile product development.
