Our client is a leading name within the water treatment/water hygiene industry, known for their delivery of quality specialist water treatment services to a varied client base. They are currently seeking an experienced and committed Water Hygiene Engineer/Plumber based in and around the Taunton area. The successful candidate will be experience in carrying out water hygiene duties in line with ACOP L8 guidelines, alongside remedial plumbing tasks. Applications from Yeovil, Bridgwater, Tiverton, Glastonbury, and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & experience:
Previous experience in a similar role within the water treatment/hygiene industry.
Have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Package.
Relevant plumbing qualifications.
Role and responsibilities:
Monitoring air and water systems.
Comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
Proceed with temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Maintain and installing dosing systems, etc.
Carry out any remedial plumbing work when required.
Build and maintain a good working relationship with clients.
