Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Fitter / Mechanic / Coachbuilder- We have a high number of immediate start career opportunities for our client who are a leading Automotive and logistics company with location based across the UK and Europe. With ongoing business requirements for experienced Automotive technicians, we are looking for experienced Level 3 or Level 2 Vehicle Technicians, Mechanics, Vehicle Fitters or Coachbuilders who can carry out vehicle conversions, Installations and modifications.

The workplace has been adapted to ensure safety of all workers and staff onsite.

We are looking for qualified Vehicle technician / Mechanics to work in a busy, clean and modern workshop.

The Job: Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Vehicle Fitter / Coachbuilder

• You will be responsible for working on German vehicles to fit and enhance the vans to the clients specification.
• Accessories fitment duties will be undertaken such as Satellite Navigation units, tow bars, roof bars, parking sensors, roof light beacons etc.
• Electrical fitment/ racking/ roof bars / Cradles
• Fitting plates, seat covers, fold up shelving, rear steps, camera fitting, beacon fitting and more. A full list of duties can be provided to you.

• You will be working on new or nearly new vehicles
• As a skilled vehicle technician and vehicle fitter, you will join our team of talented technicians responsible for maintenance and repair work of motor vehicles for our customers.
• The right person will be a team player who works well under pressure and has a passion for both customer service and keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies.
• You will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing.
• No more than 6 points on driving licence for minor offences only, and minimum of 2 years driving experience is required

The Job: Contract Details: Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Coachbuilder / Fitter

• Working on a 2 week rotating shift pattern of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - Midnight
• Rate of pay is worked out based on price per unit of work done, for which a breakdown is provided to you.
• Average weekly pay for current technicians depending on their experience is between GBP500 -GBP900 per week.

• Level 3 or Level 2 in Vehicle Repair, maintenance or fitting, or a background in coachbuilding or mechanics.
