Working in the beautiful South West of England, located in Britain's Ocean City, Plymouth.
We are looking for a Professional Support Assistant to join this busy and fast paced department within a public sector environment.
This is a 37 hour week role, with a competitive hourly rate of GBP10.62.
The purpose of this role is to provide efficient, effective secretarial and administration support to Directors and managers in post. For this post, high levels of concentration are required to produce minutes from meetings, letters and updating diaries.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following;

Arranging and co-ordinate meetings on behalf of ADs and other senior managers.

Ensuring all paperwork is up to date and available prior to meetings, including agendas, reports, minutes and action points.

Attending meetings as required to take minutes, notes and/or action points. Afterwards ensure that draft minutes are completed and circulated.

Scheduling, co-ordinating and organising work/activities/meetings as required.

Liaising with internal and external organisations and individual, such as Chief Executives, Leader of the Council, Directors, MPs offices, Police Authority, and NHS

Responding to correspondence, emails and telephone calls as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following;

Demonstrable experience of directly supporting a Senior Manager as a Personal Assistant or Secretary.
Experience of organising meetings, producing notes, action points, minutes and reports.
Experience of planning and organising priorities and working to tight deadlines.
Experience of working with strategic policies.
Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office products and Windows based software packages.

You will have both excellent accuracy and attention to detail, aswell as strong analytical skills.
