Our client, a highly respected public sector organisation based in Kirkintilloch, require a number of electricians on a temporary basis until January 2021. The salary for the role is GBP13.07 per hour. This is a full-time 35 hours per week position working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Main purpose of role:
To install smoke alarms in residential properties within the district - 10 installations per day.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Post-holders must be time served with appropriate City and Guilds Certificate or recognised equivalent. They must have full 18th Edition
Clean Driving Licence
Good Customer Care skills to deal with Council's customers in their home environment
Good, sound knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and the ability to carry out these procedures during the course of work
Commitment to achieving the required level of workmanship
Follow the relevant stores procedure regarding the use of materials and the return of any used materials
Development of a good working relationship with all colleagues and supervisors
Ability to manage time effectively when planning and/or undertaking work schedule
