Exeter College is incredibly proud to be recognised as a Microsoft Showcase College and EdTech Demonstrator and soon to be home to the Southwest Institute of Technology.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Innovations team in a brand-new role created to forge the path in digital education for Exeter College.

As a Digital Training Lead, you will be a dynamic technology professional. You will support both academic and business administration staff, students, and partners across a range of disciplines as they engage with the College’s vision, to embed technology enhanced education in all programmes of study.

As an excellent communicator and digital champion, you will help support our digital plans, working within a dynamic professional services team.

An ideal candidate will be ready to learn and be able to work collaboratively to develop innovative solutions. You will be enthusiastic and experienced in a wide range of learning technologies to support the development of traditional, online, and blended learning programmes.

You will work across multiple disciplines and forms of training delivery, including one-to-one, workshops, formal courses, and online webinars, in addition to authoring high-quality, pre-recorded content, training assets and materials.

We need someone who can provide friendly, hands on technical advice to support the needs of the College, while being open to new ideas, and keen to stay up to date with the latest technologies and approaches. You should be confident working under pressure to meet tight deadlines with high quality outputs and hold a calm, confident, positive, and supportive attitude.

Additionally, you will be able to prioritise and organise workloads with some supervisory or management experience.

We have fully embraced Microsoft tools and technologies including Windows 10 and Office 365 and this represents a large proportion of the work we will do together.
