service engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Multi-skilled Tool - Machinery repair / Service Engineer / Nottingham / salary upto 22,500k / Monday to Friday

We are looking for a candidate who has experience working with many different machines / tools and is used to getting stuck in and getting things fixed.

You will be responsible for the repair of both customers and stock machines returned from the clients store network.

THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage throughput of product in the workshop, to agreed deadlines and quality standards
Ensure a consistency high level of service is offered to the customers
Ensure that all job cards , spare orders , time sheets, and stock notes are completed correctly and on time , and control all administration paperwork
Ensure that all company stock and spare parts are accounted for, and properly recorded when used. Ensuring that any items used at short notice are reordered without delay.
Provide technical advise and support to staff and customers
Promote good service practise on the telephone, at the counter and on customers premises
