Phlebotomist

Apodi are currently recruiting for several Phlebotomist to join the team to work on the Government COVID 19 Inflection Survey. The correct candidate would have current phlebotomy experience, would be comfortable with working in the community and could start at short notice.

Duties would include:

• Pre-call all participants due an appointment to check and confirm arrangements
• Planning of appointments, considering geography and travel times
• Prepare testing kits for the day's work including appropriate PPE
• Conducting home visits for the collection of testing Swabs and taking of Bloods
• Input of accurate data on the Voyager system ensuring all appointments status' are actioned by the end of the day in line with the project reporting KPIs
• Perform venepuncture on consented participants in line with protocol
• Maintaining adequate testing kit and PPE stock through online ordering

Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills:

• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• High levels of confidence, pro-activity &initiative
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel in a field-based role
• Eligible to work full time in the UK
• Current full UK driving licence (maximum 6pts)
• Able to work some weekends and evenings
